The problem withh blogging was the eventually I'd have to give it up. There was a bit of anonymity during training, but now I'm in the real world, with real people, people are identifiable. I don't want to breach confidence by telling their tales on here.
i can tell my own tale. I was an Ordained Local Minister for contin and Strathpeffer up to and through lockdown. They then called a new minister, so after a couple of months off, i was asked to be locum for Inverness Old High St Stephen's church in late 2021, where I am to this day.
Blogging got me through training, and I enjoyed the friends I made on here, many of who I now know in real life. I'm blogging this evening in order to keep this live, but if you're looking for me, you can usually find me as revinthenorth on various platforms.
For many years I was spotthegerbil, and during all my training, it was only a lucky google search by one of my training supervisors who found me online. But I'm closing this chapter of this blog in my real name.
